📋 Requirements
- •OND or Trade Test 3 Certificate Minimum of 3 Years post qualification experience Knowledge of safety work practices Knowledge of basic Power generation.
- •Knowledge of basic electrical, electronics and pneumatic systems Ability to analyze the data recorded on running generator Hands-on experience operating and monitoring generators, switch gear, transformers, MCCs, and electrical distribution systems in a power plant environment.
- •Experience performing electrical switching, isolation, energization/de-energization, synchronization, and equipment restoration Experience supporting plant start-up, shutdown, emergency shutdown, and recovery following electrical trips or power outages.
- •Practical experience in identifying electrical faults, responding to alarms/trips, and coordinating troubleshooting and equipment restoration Experience applying electrical safety procedures, including Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lockout/Tag out (LOTO), and safe isolation practices.
